
Keith West
Keith West, a retired Federal senior executive, provides executive coaching and consulting services with an emphasis on leadership development. In his coaching practice, Keith partners with clients in a committed and trust-based relationship to help them further develop their leadership capacity and achieve personal and professional results. Along with coaching techniques, he applies experiential knowledge to facilitate a dynamic and interactive dialogue with the client. Keith completed George Mason University’s Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance certificate program and received his Professional Certified Coach credential from the International Coach Federation.
During his Federal career, he held Senior Executive Service positions at both the Department of Education and the Department of Defense. Keith joined the Department of Education in September 2007 as the Assistant Inspector General for Auditing. In that role, he led a 150-person audit organization that was responsible for all audit activities relating to improving the Department’s programs and operations. Before assuming that position, Keith held key leadership positions within the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Defense including Principal Assistant Inspector General for Auditing; Assistant Inspector General for Audit Follow-up and Technical Support; Special Assistant to the Deputy Inspector General for Auditing; Deputy Director and Acting Director of the Contract Management Directorate; and Program Director of the Advanced Systems Division of the Acquisition Management Directorate. Before his tenure with the Department of Defense, Keith was an internal auditor with the Naval Air Systems Command.
Keith’s formal education includes a bachelor of science in accounting (summa cum laude) from the University of Maryland. He is also a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute and the National Security Management course at Syracuse University. His professional credentials include Certified Public Accountant, Certified Government Financial Manager, and Professional Certified Coach. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants professional associations, as well as the International Coach Federation. Keith is certified in the Graduate School USA's 360 Leadership Effectiveness Inventory.

Mary Ugone
Mary Ugone retired from Federal service in November 2010, with 17 years of experience at the managerial level and 7 years as an executive with the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Defense. She served in various key leadership positions, including the Assistant Inspector General for Acquisition and Technology Management, 2003 to 2006; the Deputy Inspector General for Auditing, 2006 to 2010; and the Chair of the Federal Audit Executive Council, a subgroup of the President’s Council of Integrity and Efficiency, 2007 to 2009. Her awards include the Meritorious Executive Presidential Rank Award in 2007; the President’s Council on Integrity and Efficiency Awards for Excellence from 2003 through 2006; the Inspector General Distinguished Service Award and Medal in 2002; and the Secretary of Defense Exceptional Civilian Service Award and Medal in 2000. Ms. Ugone graduated from the University of Virginia and in 2011 obtained a master's in public administration, with distinction, from the Keller Graduate School of Management. She also maintains certifications of Certified Systems Professional, through the Institute of Certified Computing Professionals, and Certified Public Accountant, through the State of Virginia. In 2013, Ms. Ugone obtained the professional designation of Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation. Ms. Ugone is an associate with RK West Coaching and Consulting.
